Client: Law Firm
Challenge: To assist the firm’s Diversity Committee to develop strategies for increasing the number of partners of color.
What we did: Ibis consultants worked with the Diversity Committee and firm leadership to develop a diversity process that was the right fit for the firm. We designed and facilitated a two-day diversity retreat for 50 key partners and rainmakers from across the country with the goal of reaching consensus on strategic priorities. Five priorities were identified, and following the retreat Ibis worked with sub-committees of the Diversity Committee to plan and implement actions in each priority area.
Results: The Diversity Committee created visibility and buy-in for its initiatives. A diversity plan was put in place and a Director of Diversity was hired to manage implementation and spearhead diversity activities.
