Angela Rola

Angela Rola is the founding Director of the Asian American Cultural Center (AsACC) at the University of Connecticut. She has developed a variety of programs focusing on the diverse Asian American community. Angela serves as one of the diversity trainers for the Connecticut state-mandated training on diversity and sexual harassment prevention. She also develops and facilitates site-appropriate training for profit, non-profit businesses, and educational institutions on DEIJ issues including implicit bias, cultural competence/empathy, and creating inclusive environments.
A proud UConn Alumna, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology and her Master’s in Educational Studies. Before working in Higher Education, Angela worked in both the corporate and non-profit worlds as a Human Resources specialist in New York, California, and Alaska.
