Cedar Pruitt

Senior Consultant

Cedar (she/her) has been a Senior Consultant at Ibis since 2016 and is passionate about racial equity and justice. She specializes in facilitation, strategic business development, and executive coaching, with over two decades of expertise in developing innovative, meaningful, and inclusive workplace culture.

Cedar has developed in-house professional development strategies, created competency models for organizations large and small, facilitated immersive leadership development programming, designed educational curricula, and written and implemented values, missions, and visions that resonate and stick with employees.

She also has experience founding and running corporate citizenship and integrated philanthropy programming as part of her work helping employees make meaningful connections to organizational vision and mission statements. In addition to her consulting work, Cedar’s in-house experience includes cultural leadership at athenahealth, the Educational Development Center, the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard, and the John F. Harvard Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

Cedar holds a B.A. in Media and Culture Studies from Hampshire College in Amherst MA and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is the founder of CharlesBank Consulting and is a Leadership Circle Profile™ Certified Coach, a Zappos Insights™ Certified Culture Revolutionary, a participant in the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and a graduate of the Interaction Associates Facilitative Leadership program.
