Karen R Young (she/her) is a Senior Consultant and the Consulting and Assessment Practice Lead at Ibis. She is an accomplished corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion executive with a background in organization development, executive coaching, systemic change, and community engagement. She is dedicated to providing impactful, inclusive, and result-driven solutions.
Karen has more than 25 years of expertise in implementing strategies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion within organizations and addressing business challenges and the opportunities present in its workforce, workplace, and marketplace. Her specialization is in consulting with and coaching leaders and leadership teams to effectively comprehend and leverage assessment data and feedback in a meaningful way for the business and the workforce.
Karen holds degrees from Boston University and Barrington College. Outside of Ibis, she is engaged in the community, including service on the Board of Directors of Pride in Our Workplace (PIOW) and a member of the Perkins School for the Blind Corporation. She is proud to be recognized in the inaugural Power 50 recognizing leaders in various industries who are shaping and innovating the future of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She enjoys photography and is energized by creativity, art, and community.
